Important Notice Regarding Vehicle Registration Mailouts
Due to the potential labour disruption with Canada Post beginning on or after May 22, 2025, the mailing of vehicle registrations and stickers has been temporarily suspended.
All vehicle registrations renewed online or through Teleservices on or before
May 12, 2025, have been processed and mailed out.
If you do not receive your registration and sticker by mail, or if you renewed your registration online or via Teleservices after
May 12, 2025, you may visit any service centre with valid proof of insurance to obtain your documents in person.
Estimated time to complete: 5-8 minutes
To renew online, you will need
- your vehicle identification number (VIN) and plate number (found on your vehicle registration)
- your postal code
- your insurance policy number, expiry date and insurance company name (found on your insurance card)
- your payment option (credit card, debit card, or Google Pay)
Proof of renewal
Your receipt confirmation or reference number will act as your proof of renewal on SNB.CA.
Until the new sticker arrives, you must:
- print a copy of the confirmation page or recorded authorization number and keep it with you when driving the vehicle
- leave the existing sticker on your vehicle
This confirmation copy or recorded authorization number:
- is proof that you renewed your sticker
- gives you a 10 day grace period before you must have the stickers affixed to your plates
Cost and delivery
You are not eligible to renew your registration online if your address has changed, you must visit a Service New Brunswick centre.
Your new registration and sticker(s) will be mailed to the address that is on file.
