To use this service the Marriage must have occurred in New Brunswick.
You may use this easy and convenient service to make an application for your own New Brunswick Marriage certificate and pay the required fees using a credit card or debit card*.
*You must have online banking set-up with your financial institution in order to pay using your debit card. The participating financial institutions for debit card payment include: RBC Royal Bank, Scotiabank and TD Canada Trust.
Requesting your New Brunswick marriage certificate online is a 3 step process:
Step 1: Complete Application Form, Verify and Confirm – You must complete, verify and confirm all required fields of the application form in order to proceed.
Step 2: Payment Information – You will be asked for your credit card or debit card information to complete the payment transaction.
Step 3: Transaction Confirmation - The results of your transaction will be confirmed, including details of your payment, which may be printed for your records.
You may cancel your application at any time during the process. You will simply be returned to this page.
You may only apply for your own marriage certificate using this online service.
A "Regular" request for a marriage certificate will be processed by the Vital Statistics office within 10 business days excluding delivery time, if the application is complete, the information given in the application agrees with our records, and the event is registered. You may opt to have your certificate couriered for an additional fee.
All applications made using this service are subject to verification by the Registrar General of Vital Statistics.
1) Have any personal information (e.g. marriage date, place of marriage, and birth places of the parties to the marriage, etc.) close by for reference.
2) Be sure that the marriage occurred in New Brunswick.
3) Have a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or debit card for payment
